In an era of advancing digital technology and with the COVID-19 pandemic, ophthalmic practice has also evolved. There has been great improvement in retinal image acquisition and we are applying different OCT modalities to understand and study retinal conditions at a molecular level.
Ocular imaging especially retinal Fundus Autofluorescence not only aids in accurate diagnosis but also serves as a valuable tool to monitor disease response to treatment. This short precise atlas covers the assortment of retinal conditions that are common and complicated in nature. We are incorporating the color fundus images FAF and OCT scans. In this atlas, we have highlighted the hallmark features of various retinal conditions noted on FAF with brief descriptions. Data collection has never been an easy task.
This book is the result of many months of hard work and we hope that this FAF atlas will be an invaluable source of information not only for budding ophthalmologists but for the rest of the ophthalmic community in enhancing eye care. We strive for continuous improvement and we believe that this book will provide a foundation for future publications and further contributions in the field of retinal imaging.
