A 39-year-old female presents with a history of ptosis of the right upper eyelid present since birth. Corrected visual acuity is 20/80 right eye and 20/20 left eye. She has no history of trauma or ocular surgery and after finishing a complete eye exam, it is thought that the reduced acuity of the right eye is secondary to amblyopia. What other information is important to obtain when considering surgery to correct her ptosis?

Backup of information is a good idea for our profession (Review in Ophthalmology).
Thank you for your presentation of this case. You showed us very valuable information, but I felt like It was missing the Marcus-Gunn jaw winking in the differential diagnoses of the congenital ptosis.
