Surgery: Goniotomy

In this video, Dr. Neely demonstrates a goniotomy procedure on a patient with a clear cornea. The technique involves carefully incising the trabecular meshwork with a twenty-five gauge needle. After completing the goniotomy, the surgeon irrigates out the cohesive viscoelastic used during the procedure and closes the incision with stromal hydration, typically without the need for sutures.
