All Cybersight activities are based on identified gaps in global eye health and practice.

2. Independence and Integrity

Cybersight maintains strict independence from commercial influence.
Faculty and planners disclose all potential conflicts of interest, and all educational content is free from promotional bias.

3. Global Accessibility

Our CPD framework supports equitable access:

  • Free for all learners
  • Optimized for mobile devices and low-bandwidth settings
  • Diverse international faculty
  • Available in multiple languages

4. Diverse Educational Formats

  • Live Webinars – Interactive sessions with international experts, featuring live polling and Q&A.
  • Online Courses – Self-paced learning modules with scored assessments.

5. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

Participant feedback and outcome data drive ongoing updates to ensure that our programs remain relevant, effective, and aligned with best practices.

Alignment with International Standards

Cybersight’s CPD framework is informed by globally accepted standards in medical education and professional development.
Our approach draws upon the principles and published guidance of:

  • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME, USA)
  • European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME, Europe)
  • World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) – Continuing Professional Development framework

Certification

Participants receive a Certificate of Completion for each eligible course or webinar, documenting participation, the type of activity and educational hours. For online courses, detailed logs are kept via the SCORM standard. For live webinars, detailed join/leave time records are kept by the webinar platform and a minimum attendance threshold of 80% must be met.

Depending on local regulations, these certificates may be submitted for consideration toward CPD credit equivalence through national or regional CPD systems. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of the relevant regulatory authority.
