Quiz: Blurred Vision, Mild Ocular Pain, & Photophobia in the Right Eye

A 41-year-old man presents with blurred vision, mild ocular pain, and photophobia in his right eye for 10 days. He reports multiple prior episodes of unilateral red eye over the past several years. He was treated elsewhere with topical corticosteroids for the current episode with partial symptomatic improvement. There is no history of contact lens use or trauma. Best-corrected visual acuity is 6/18 in the right eye and 6/6 in the left eye.

Slit-lamp examination of the right eye reveals stromal haze with underlying fine keratic precipitates and mild anterior chamber inflammation. The corneal epithelium is intact. Corneal sensation is reduced.
