Why did you want to become a Cybersight Mentor?

As a glaucoma fellow during 2019-2020, my education was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on clinic and surgery center closures. During COVID-19-related clinic closures, I started watching Cybersight lectures, which helped fill the educational gap that the pandemic caused. Out of gratitude to Cybersight, I felt compelled to give back through periodic educational webinars on glaucoma topics once I started practice. It was during these webinars that I realized just how global Cybersight’s reach was, with people tuning in from all over the world, eager to learn more about glaucoma. When I was invited to become a Cybersight mentor in 2024, I jumped at the opportunity to both give back to this wonderful organization and help my fellow ophthalmologists on the other side of the world.
