Why did you want to become a Cybersight Mentor?
In serving as an ORBIS volunteer faculty member in biomedical engineering around the world, I have met a lot of biomed techs and engineers who are quite capable and skilled but who often could use contacts and peers to get answers, information, and advice that is not easily accessible to them. This need is often felt in the area of optics, where they might not have many resources or much training. Sometimes, biomeds just want to share their idea about how to approach a problem with others to see if it makes sense, and then they are off to solve it themselves!
