About Me:
Dr. Freitag is the Director of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and co-director of the Multidisciplinary Center for Thyroid Eye Disease and Orbital Surgery. She is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical and Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of the journal Orbit. She is the author of 175 peer-reviewed articles and 4 textbooks. She does volunteer surgical work in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
Why did you want to become a Cybersight Mentor?
I am always interested in learning about the cases that challenge colleagues and am happy to offer advice based on my experiences. We see different diseases presenting in various parts of the world, and this makes for interesting promulgation of knowledge.
