In addition to teaching residents in General Ophthalmology and Cornea/External Eye Diseases at her workplace, Dr. Ho has served developing countries around the world as a volunteer faculty member with LifeLine Express (China), as an Associate with Orbis International, as an instructor teaching ophthalmic care on the Flying Eye Hospital, and now as a Cybersight Mentor in Cybersight’s telemedicine program. Dr. Ho specializes in all aspects of Cornea and External Eye Diseases, including the management of dry eyes, keratitis, corneal dystrophy, keratoconus, corneal transplantation, collagen crosslinking, cataract surgery, scleral-fixated IOL, anterior segment reconstruction, intraocular lens implantation, and the use of femtosecond laser-assisted surgeries.
Why did you want to become a Cybersight Mentor?
During my time as a trainee, I understood the importance of having a good mentor who is willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with me in hopes of making me a better ophthalmologist. I would like to provide the same support and help to those who may have difficulty finding such a mentor at their workplace.
