A 1-month-old girl presented for evaluation after being diagnosed with PHACE syndrome by a dermatologist. In addition to a hemangioma on her lower face (limited to her chin region), she had also been found to have aortic coarctation on cardiac ultrasound. Ocular motility and alignment appeared normal as did the anterior segments. Posterior segments are as shown in the photographs.

Very nice. Papillorenal syndrome is a differential diagnosis of morning glory syndrome but morning glory shows a classic appearance of blood vessels emanating 360 degrees from the optic disc and a central tuft of glial tissue. In Papillorenal syndrome there are no blood vessels in the centre of the optic disc which differentiates it from optic disc coloboma
